KABS IN THE COMMUNITY
2015 MEN'S HEALTH FORUM
Now more than ever, men are actively seeking to maintain their lifestyles and overall health. The University of South Florida supports these efferts every year by hosting a Men's Health Forum focused on education, screening and more.
For the past few years KABS Pharmacy has participated in the forum in order to make a connection with the men in our community. Pharmacitst, Sharon Fleming was on hand at the 2015 forum in March providing edcuational pamphlets and free consultations about medication management, health risks, screenings and educational health workshops.
We were elated to find that many of the men at the forum already had a vitamin and exercise regimen and reported that they were not at risk for diabetes, high blood pressure or heart disease. Kudos to the men of Tampa Bay for maintaining a healthy lifestyle!
KABS IN THE NEWS
CHANNEL 8 - KABS RIDE
Owner Bode Ishola recently gained the attention of local News Channel 8 with his environmentally friend bikes - KABS Ride.
KABS Ride is an environmentally friendly scooter that runs solely by electricity. The bikes can drive 20 mph for up to 40 miles on a single charge. They also come equipped with LED lights for night time travel.
Bode recommends these bikes for college students who have to trek across large campuses each day. KABS Ride can go anywhere a regular bike can go and offer an affordable means of transportation for those who dont have a car.
